On Friday, September 11th, this lot will be closed. Please us the Marwood Rd or Winfield Rd lots. The caboose will be moving into its new home.
Lot will be back open for riders/walkers on Saturday.

North parking lot in Laneville will be closed Saturday (9/5). Additional parking at the south lot, street parking in Freeport and the Park n Ride. Trail will open through the lot, just no parking.

Hi allThe trail between Saver Road and Winfield Road will be closed Friday, June 12th from 11-6. Police will be turning you around. Vice President Pence is visiting Oberg Industries.Might be a good opportunity to visit a different section of the trail.

Parking NO Parking tips. These are the biggest parking areas. DO NOT PARK ON PRIVATE PROPERTY OR BLOCK DRIVEWAYS. Residents still need emergency access to their property and Summit Twp at Bonniebrook Rd needs access to their material so they can work.
Parking lot full? Find another one or adjust the time of day you are using the trail. Residents and businesses do have the right to have your vehicle towed. Just think of someone blocked access to your home.Share with your trail user friends. I am posting this information on our website and sending to those on our email list.Be safe, practice social distancing and be aware of where others are on the trail. Stay well everyone

Under the order, residents may leave their residents only for the following reasons: “Engaging in outdoor activity, such as walking, hiking or running (if they maintain social distancing)”.
I have always been proud that this Facebook page, everyone has always been respectful of each others opinion. This is not the place to argue, this is the place to say what an awesome regional asset we have in our area, the natural beauty, the birds, flowers, etc. May I suggest if seeing others engaging in an allowable activity upsets you, please leave the group (because it is something you cannot control), and come back after. Do what is best for you. Remember folks there will be an after. And we welcome you back with no judgement.
My heart is very heavy with the thoughts of hitting “post” to the page.
